Recently we had a company pretend ot be us, selling goods as if they were us. The site has been removed now, however it points out how important it is to deal with a bonefide company.
Check with google that the address is correct. Google verify all places they put on their maps. Check with companies house if necessary. Never trust a company to only a mobile number.
Use paypal or google pay or if you use a credit card you are covered as if you don't get your goods the company will refund your money, and get it back from the trader.
Here is a link to the story about our experience.
